The Baptist Men's Mission Group meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm. The Baptist Men's Mission Group serves the Archdale-Trinity Community area by assiting those in need. From building handicapped ramps, to helping local Youth organizations, the Baptist Men are focused on showing God's love in a visible and relevant way. Every other sunday, our Children Age Teachers take the children out mid-service to their own Children's Worship Service. An opportunity to praise God without having to "sit still & be quiet". Fun music, games, activities & more. We do this every other Sunday so the children will have an opportunity to listen to a sermon &/or respond to an inviation if they feel led. The FBCA Adult Choir provides music which leads worship for each 11am Sunday service. From weekly specials, to Seasonal Musicals, the Adult Choir works hard to use the gifts God has given them to worship Him and bring Him glory. The FBCA Adult Choir rehearses each Wednesday evening at 8pm, and is open to all people 7th Grade & older.
We are currently trying to build a worship team & praise band. Vici Hill (Piano) & Robert Samuel (Organ) have been serving FBCA for 35 years, and are excited to welcome new members into be a part of the worship team. If you play the guitar, bass, drums, kazoo, trombone...whatever!...and are interested in joining the team, please email Jennifer. Worship Team Musicians meet to rehearse Sunday's at 6pm.
The FBCA Youth Group meets each Wednesday at 7pm and Sunday at 9:45am in Sunday School. From in-depth Bible Study to bizarre life discussions, the FBCA Youth Group spends time each week supporting each other as they are moving from children to adults in the world. Our motto is:
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." Timothy 4:12
The Youth Group also plans fun activites from Whitewater Rafting to Camping out on the church yard. No idea too crazy....that can't be tamed down and used! Come worship God with a fun & accepting young adult group. Questions & suggestions in regards to the Youth Group can be directed to Youth Leader, Jennifer Lassiter.
Children Grades 1-6 meet each Wednesday at 7pm for "Jesus in Blue Jeans". It's a fun, interactive Bible Study, which puts Bible stories & Jesus' teaching in verbiage easy for kids to understand. "Jesus in Blue Jeans" will work to help your child build on characteristics that will make them more Christ-minded in the world. You remember when you learned about the difference between right and wrong? You figured it out when they made it easy! "Jesus in Blue Jeans" does just that! The Children have a great time each week learning & playing together.
WMU meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm. WMU is involved with supporting mission projects locally to international. Raising funds and items for Annie Armstrong Easter Fund, Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, Operation Christmas Child & More.
